Teide: The Jewel of Tenerife

Loro Parque: Fun and Conservation

The Loro Parque in Puerto de la Cruz is one of the most important zoos in Europe. Besides being home to a great variety of parrots and exotic birds, the park has orca and dolphin shows, an aquarium and areas dedicated to the conservation of endangered species. Siam Park: The Best Water Park in the World

Considered the best water park in the world on several occasions, Siam Park is located on the south coast of Tenerife and offers an unforgettable experience. Inspired by Thai architecture, this park features world-class water slides and attractions.

Tenerife Auditorium: A Cultural Icon

Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival

Festivities of the Virgin of Candelaria

Festivities of San Andres in Icod de los Vinos

At the end of November, the town of Icod de los Vinos celebrates the Fiestas de San Andrés, a popular tradition that revolves around the opening of the local wineries to taste the new wine. The most peculiar thing about this festivity is the custom of young people sliding down the steep streets on wooden boards, an activity that is both exciting and fun to watch.

Drago Milenario and Drago Park

In the municipality of Icod de los Vinos is the famous Drago Milenario, a tree considered a symbol of the island and one of the oldest in the Canary Islands, with an estimated age of between 800 and 1000 years. Around this impressive tree is the Parque del Drago, an ideal place to enjoy nature and learn about the local flora.

Festivities of Corpus Christi in La Orotava

The town of La Orotava celebrates every June the Corpus Christi Festival, known for the impressive carpets of flowers and volcanic sand that cover the streets of the historic center. The carpets are handmade and represent religious scenes, being one of the most beautiful and colorful traditions of Tenerife.
